Uncivilised genes

October 31, 2017

The next lecture on Friday 3rd November is by Gus Milne.  Gus has spoken to us many times before, often on his work in London where he worked for the Museum of London Archaeological Service for many years, or on maritime topics including the excellent CitiZAN project which is recording the tidal archaeology of Britain.  This time, however, Gus is talking about his latest book, Uncivilised Genes. says:

In ‘Uncivilised Genes: Human Evolution and the Urban Paradox’, Gustav Milne explores how we can reconfigure our lifestyles and urban environments, based on an understanding of our prehistoric past, in order to bring about a richer future for mankind.

Join us for what should prove a fascinating evening.

As always, if anyone can put up posters, please let me know.
