“… including the dots”
February 1, 2017
Our next lecture is by Isobel Thompson. Isobel is the expert on Late Iron Age grog tempered pottery and she is also co-author of Alban’s Buried Towns (with Rosalind Niblett). She has been working for the Hertfordshire Historic Environment Department and one of the people responsible for maintaining the Hertfordshire Historic Environment Record, what used to be called the Sites and Monuments Record. As a result, she has a detailed knowledge of the archaeology of the County, and especially of the latest work and finds. Come and find out what has been found in the county in recent years with her talk entitled “More from the Historic Environment Record… including the dots”.
